Rowland Homes is proud to support Euxton Villa Football Club following the club’s recent promotion to the North West Counties Premier Division by donating bricks for the construction of a brand new stand.
The contribution comes at an exciting time for the club following its entry at a higher level of competition. The new stand will enhance facilities for supporters, marking a significant milestone in Euxton Villa FC’s continued growth.
It is part of the ground grading requirements to remain in their current division, without meeting this deadline the team could have been relegated at the end of this season.
Adding a personal touch to the project, one of Rowland’s long-standing subcontractors - Mick Bradshaw, his son Henry and Jake Worsfold of MK Bradshaw Ltd, played a hands-on role in bringing the stand to life. Mick, who has worked with Rowland for over 25 years, is also deeply involved with the football club, serving as Assistant Manager for the Reserve Team in his spare time.
Currently working on Rowland’s new Cuerden Place development in Clayton-le-Woods, Jake, Mick and his son volunteered their time over a weekend to build the wall for the new stand. Their dedication reflects both their professional pride and personal passion for the club.
George Rowley, Managing Director for Rowland Homes said:
“We are delighted to support Euxton Villa FC at such an important moment in their journey. Community is at the heart of what we do, and it’s fantastic to see one of our trusted subcontractors, contributing both professionally and personally to a project that means so much locally.”
Euxton Villa FC also expressed their gratitude, highlighting the importance of local partnerships in helping the club progress and improve its facilities, providing a boost to both players and supporters alike.
