Rowland Homes, one of the North West’s leading new homes developer, is celebrating the promotion of a long-serving member of staff.
Dean Clisham, 32, from Leyland, joined the company as a labourer in 2001, straight after finishing his education at Worden High School. The following year he was given the opportunity to become an apprentice joiner, aged just 17.
Dean continued working at Rowland Homes as qualified joiner on all their sites throughout the North West and two years ago was offered the position of Assistant Site Manager and has now been promoted to Site Manager at the company’s Astley Green development located between Wigan and Manchester
Dean said: “Achieving the promotion after two years as an Assistant Manager is a fantastic accomplishment for my career. The support that I have received from all members of staff at Rowland throughout my career so far has been exceptional and I have a great deal to thank them all for."
Astley Green offers a range of three and four bedroom homes, with the Government’s Help to Buy and Affordable Home schemes available on selected properties.
Construction Director, Ralph Bacon, said: “Dean Clisham is a success story and one that is borne out of hard work and commitment. Dean's attention to detail and care about what he produces led us to giving him the opportunity to become an assistant site manager. This decision was definitely the correct one and he has not disappointed the construction team, which two years later has now earned him the promotion to site manager".
