Local primary school Great Eccleston Copp C.E. School is celebrating its 150 year anniversary and to mark the occasion the children are raising much needed funds for a new playground design along with an outdoor classroom.

Jane Long from ‘Friends of Copp School’ says, ‘’We’re delighted to receive this generous donation from Rowland. We rely heavily on voluntary contributions and donations such as this to help the school, especially when it has been so difficult to reach out to the local community during the recent COVID lockdowns.’’

Rowland were invited along to the school to present their cheque donation of £500 towards the project. The children were excited to show Rowland’s Sales Executive, Stephen Fairclough-Speed their designs and ideas for the project which will help make playtime more fun, as well as give them an exciting and much needed outdoor classroom to experience the great outdoors in all weathers.

Stephen from Rowland said, “We are delighted to have been able to present the school with this donation and meet the children. At Rowland we pride ourselves on building quality homes to meet the needs of local communities. We consider it a privilege to support the local community when we can and hope our donation to the school will benefit the school for many years to come.”
