We were very pleased this week to be able to deliver our next donation to the Lancashire Police Federation Police Memorial fund, taking our total donations through our Giving Back Initiative to a total of £7,000.

The Giving Back Initiative was set up so that when one of Lancashire’s serving or retired officers and staff choose a new home at one of our developments throughout Lancashire, as a thank you from Rowland Homes, they’ll receive an allowance of up to £1,500 plus we’ll donate an additional £1,000 to the Police Memorial fund.

Rachel, Chair of Lancashire Police Federation said ‘The scheme helps us to maintain our local memorial to officers who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in Lancashire. We are grateful and humbled that you have chosen to support us.’

The cheque was delivered to the Police Federation by Stephen Fairclough-Speed, Sales Executive at Sandpiper Grange. He commented ‘Rowland Homes would like to say thank you for your continued support, helping to keep our communities safe and free from harm. We recognise the hard work you have to complete each day during your duties. We are delighted that a number of you have wanted to call Rowland Homes “Home”. This means a lot to us.‘
