3rd - 6th July Lytham Festival
A spectacular five-day live music event which now attracts well in excess of 100,000 people each summer. Staged on the banks of Lancashire's stunning Ribble Estuary.
16th – 17th August Lytham 1940s Weekend
Lytham relives the 1940s wartime era with a weekend of forties singing, dancing, weapons displays, historic vehicles, military charities, vintage traders and so much more.
29th - 31st August St Annes International Kite Festival
The skies above St Anne's seafront will be awash with colour on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday as fabulous display kites take to the air on the beach adjacent to the pier.
Preston
19th July The Lancashire Festival
The Lancashire Festival is back for its sixth year, bringing an incredible lineup of live music, circus performances, dance, and thrilling entertainment. A truly grassroots festival, this independent event champions talented local artists and performers.
25th – 27th July Preston Live
Preston Live returns for its third year, now including camping facilities. There’s a fantastic line-up of pop, dance, indie, RnB, and soul artists including The Lightning Seeds, The Hoosiers, Ella Henderson and Heather Smalls.
16th August Preston City Wrestling 2025
Preston City Wrestling is once again, returning to the Flag Market for it's eleventh year!
A great spectacle of match brawls outside in the summer sun, with a colourful display of strength and competitiveness.
Blackpool
9th – 10th August Blackpool Air Show 2025
Blackpool Air Show will return with some of the world’s finest military and civilian aircraft performing over the iconic seafront.
The programme will showcase the very best in British aviation with a whole host of amazing flying machines and some of the country’s most talented pilots.
26th August Ride the Lights
The popular free event sees the seafront stretch fully closed to vehicles for one night only between 19:00 - 22:00 to allow cyclists to get a sneak preview of the Blackpool Illuminations ahead of the annual Switch-On
29th August Blackpool Illuminations 2025
The world-famous Illuminations need little introduction. With six miles of traditional festoons, tableaux and interactive features along the Promenade, no wonder it’s commonly known as the greatest free light show on Earth!
Chorley
25th - 27th July Chorley Flower Show
Bigger and better than ever, the award-winning Chorley Flower Show is back with more entertainment and activities than ever before!
As one of the premier horticultural events in the region, come along for a great day out for all the family.
1st - 3rd August ChorFest
The beautiful Astley Hall will be the backdrop for a weekend of great live music. Expect an incredible atmosphere, especially with the Hall lit up as darkness falls each night.
Carnforth
6th July Classic & Performance Motor Show at Leighton Hall
Hundreds of vintage vehicles, performance and classic cars on display on Leighton's lawn and terrace.
12th - 13th July Dino Fest, Lancaster
Dino Fest is on the 12th and 13th of July this year and you can see the amazing dinosaurs roaming through Lancaster, in honour of Lancastrian palaeontologist Richard Owen who coined the term 'dinosaur'.
19th - 20th July Heysham Village Viking Festival
Join us for an exhilarating weekend, at Heysham, where we’ll bring back the magic that’s delighted 1,000s of visitors over 5 years of previous events. 5th July Ulverston Pride Festival
Organised by the Ulverston Pride Community Group, the event features live music, performances, stalls, and family-friendly activities, emphasizing community participation and local talent . The Ulverston Methodist Church continues its support, offering inclusive spaces and hosting craft events leading up to the festival. Ulverston Pride 2025 promises a vibrant day of unity and celebration for all.
