Rowland are proud to support a leading charity in Ingol and Cottam

Rowland Homes are delighted to announce their support for ‘Intact’ for all the wonderful work they have been doing for nearly 30 years to offer help and support to the local communities of Ingol and Tanterton.

Rowland is donating £500 to the Intact Centre for all the local residents who rely on this critical community service.

The Intact Centre on Whitby Avenue in Ingol has been making a real difference to peoples’ lives in this part of Preston since 1993 and has become an essential part of the local welfare support programme, delivering care in the local community.

Local councillor Trevor Hart who has been supporting the Intact Centre for many years says ‘We greatly appreciate the donations and support we receive from companies such as Rowland. We wouldn’t be able to offer the range of services and reach out and support the needs of the community without them.’

Local new homes developer Rowland are currently building at Sandpiper Grange on Cottam Way in Cottam and their sales executive Stephen Fairclough-Speed says ‘I was deeply touched by the meeting I had with Councillor Hart. It had a profound effect on me and it had never occurred that so many people in our own local communities rely so heavily on receiving help and support to put meals on the tables of their families. I think we are all aware of the difficulty many people face right now with rising food costs and soaring energy prices, so we’re proud to support this deserving cause and wish to congratulate everyone at Intact for delivering such an essential service to the people in this part of Preston.’
