Overview:
Previously known as Grace House, this was an intriguing project combining refurbishment of a large Grade II listed town house, and the integration of contemporary 'city' style apartments.

The first scheme of its kind in Preston city centre was very much a triumph as part of it's regeneration policy, and also for creating a new living environment in keeping with the character of the conservation area the property was set in.

Set amongst 6.5 hectares of mature woodland, on the fringes of the town, Farington House is a Grade II listed building which has been painstakingly restored to its former glory, and now become the corporate headquarters for Rowland themselves.

Working closely with local architects, planners and English Heritage, Rowland has transformed this building into a piece of architectural heritage to be treasured and enjoyed by many more people for years to come.
