At Rowland, not only do we love building beautiful homes, but we also love giving back to our communities and those who care for them – which is why we proudly support Lancashire Police Federation.
Our giving back initiative aims to support Lancashire’s serving or retired officers and staff by providing them with an allowance of up to £1,500 to spend on their new Rowland home, with a further £1,000 going towards the Lancashire Police Memorial Garden upon completion.
The memorial garden was opened in April 2017 at the Lancashire Police Headquarters to commemorate and pay tribute to the brave officers who have sadly lost their lives during their service.
We feel privileged to have recently donated another £1,000 to the memorial garden and look forward to giving our ongoing support to this cause.
Sue from Rowland Homes said, “We are delighted to have this relationship with Lancashire Police Federation. The garden is so beautiful and offers a peaceful place for Lancashire police staff and families to visit and remember their fallen colleagues and loved ones”.
The Chair of Lancashire Police Federation, Rachel Hanley, also commented, “We are very grateful for the continued support from Rowland Homes. It is important to remember those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice and the generous contributions from Rowland Homes help us to maintain the garden to a high standard”.
