Things to do

Leyland has a large leisure centre with swimming pool and gym, and the award-winning Worden Park is a hidden gem that offers something for all the family. With a variety of play equipment for children, open spaces to relax with a picnic, varied wildlife and also a coffee shop, located in the centre of the town. Rural areas close by include Rivington Pike and Cuerden Valley which are ideal for outdoor pursuits. Between Leyland and Preston there is a cinema complex at the Capitol Centre.

Leyland is home to a variety of shops including a large Tesco, Morrisons and ASDA Supermarkets.  The town centre itself offers many independent shops that are handy to use daily, and Preston is a short distance away if you require greater variety.
